Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be better able to:

  1. Consider the positive aspects of managing OUD treatment in primary care
  2. Discuss the efficacy and limitations of FDA-approved medications for the treatment of OUD
  3. Plan to use adaptive protocols to combat systems-level barriers impacting treatment for people with OUD
  4. Articulate the value of an interprofessional team-based approach to OUD management
  5. Overcome hesitancy to treating people with OUD

This activity is designated for 1.0 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. Approval is valid until March 22, 2027. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.
